Personal Development is an 8-day course for teen males seeking to clarify and strengthen life skills, personal goals, and motivations.

WHO: Designed for participants in Year 12 (Year 11s with consideration) who have previously completed the Team Leadership course and have been endorsed by your local organisation leader or BB Company Captain.

COST: The course costs $330 (or $410 for boys not part of a BB Vic Company). Fees cover course materials, food, accommodation, activities and a course jumper. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to secure your place.

Scholarships available for families where cost is a barrier.

WHERE: 'Camp McLaren’, 190 Tarrango Road, Yarra Junction, VIC 3797

WHEN: April 11th to 18th, 2026 with a Graduation Service 2:30pm on the final day. Parents and friends are encouraged to attend the Graduation Service.

HISTORY: Since 1987, the PD and TL courses have won praise from Secondary School Teachers, Psychologists, Professional Managers, Local Leaders, Parents and more importantly - the graduates themselves.

FACILITATORS: The Course is run by Boys’ Brigade Victoria. All leaders are volunteers and follow best-practice guidelines in Community Youth Work.
